Jennifer endures Bryan’s latest action for an entire hour, but then he reappears, cuts her down and tries to massage the pain away. She tries to leave and Bryan threatens to reveal her secret. Jennifer counters that she doubts that because he doesn’t have the guts to hurt her out in the open. Jennifer leaves. After days where she can think of nothing but him, Jennifer has lunch with Lily, who explains that her fiancé’s uncle has been unreachable as of late. Worried about Bryan, Jennifer goes to him and demands the truth.
